Troubadour Theatres is thrilled to announce the launch of its next flagship venue: Troubadour Greenwich Peninsula Theatre. Opening in 2026, this ambitious development will introduce not one, but two brand-new state-of-the-art auditoriums, each seating 1,500 guests.
Positioned at the heart of London’s most forward-looking cultural district, Troubadour Greenwich Peninsula Theatre will play a central role in shaping the area into a world-class destination for the arts. Designed with versatility and scale in mind, the two auditoriums will welcome large-scale, dynamic productions from across the globe.
Each space is purpose-built to deliver unforgettable live experiences. With cutting-edge technical infrastructure, modern front-of-house facilities and the welcoming atmosphere that has become synonymous with Troubadour, Greenwich Peninsula Theatre is set to offer audiences something truly extraordinary.
This new venue builds on the success of Troubadour’s existing theatres, including Wembley Park and the upcoming Canary Wharf Theatre (opening October 2025). From reimagined performance spaces to international premieres, Troubadour has consistently transformed unexpected locations into thriving cultural landmarks. Greenwich Peninsula Theatre marks the company’s boldest step yet, reaffirming its reputation as one of London’s most innovative theatre-makers.
At Troubadour, we believe in creating spaces that inspire both artists and audiences. These two new 1,500-seat auditoriums will provide unmatched flexibility for producers and directors, enabling ever more ambitious shows to take the stage. For audiences, it means a front-row seat to world-class productions in a venue designed with their comfort and experience at its core.
Greenwich Peninsula is one of London’s most ambitious developments, a neighbourhood alive with striking architecture, riverside walks, cultural spaces and vibrant communities. Troubadour Greenwich Peninsula Theatre will be its cultural centrepiece, further cementing London’s place as one of the world’s great theatre capitals.
